I stumbled across this video and was shocked it was from 2008. I’ve never seen one of these before and ... it’s amazing! No more oil starvation surprises, that’s for sure!

its not that weird of an idea....but i dont think i would have EVER thought to apply it to a dyno cell. very interesting. wonder if they take into account the body roll of the car and camber changes in the track

The old way was to strap Hans Stuck in a test mule and let him rip on it until it popped, but this seems more scientific. Less fun, though.
